Facility Tour, Dragon Boat Race and Visiting the Leipzig City Festival

From June 2nd to 4th, our trainees from Siegen went on an exciting trip to our facility in Meuselwitz and afterwards to Leipzig. In Meuselwitz, the trainees were able to exchange ideas with the trainers and trainees and making new friends. The trip to Leipzig was the final highlight.

Despite the early departure at seven o'clock in the morning, our trainees were very motivated as they set off by bus heading for Meuselwitz. After arrival, our trainees had the chance to receive a giuded tour through the Meuselwitz facility side, where they were able to gain exciting insights into the production processes and to engage in a direct exchange of experiences.

After having lunch together, everyone went on to the Haselbach Lake to participate in an exciting dragon boat race: Siegen against Meuselwitz! After a close head-to-head race, the trainees from Meuselwitz finally took home the victory. At the end of the day, all trainees had a barbecue together thus rounding off an eventful day.
On Saturday our trainees continued their trip to Leipzig. Travelling directly from Meuselwitz with the bus, they were able to participate in the Leipzig city festival with several funfairs and trying culinary highlights. Spending the last evening together in the brewery, our trainees started their journey home on Sunday morning.

The feedback is consistently positive. "We grew even closer together and we were very happy to finally get to know the trainees at Meuselwitz," said trainee Niklas Knopf. "A particular highlight was the joint dragon boat race and the lively evening at Villa Meuselwitz.“
